Zusammenfassung: | An up-to-date overview of empirical studies on forecasting practice is presented. Surveys and case studies reporting on forecasting practice in industry are identified and their major methodological characteristics summarised. An overall framework for organisational forecasting practice is then developed which is used to categorise and discuss the substantive findings of the various empirical studies. Finally, the framework is used to identify areas for future research based upon the gaps identified in the literature, review. |
