Zusammenfassung: | The patient underwent computed tomography (CT) of the head and sinuses followed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain and sinuses, with and without contrast. The remainder of the opacified contents in the frontal sinuses, left ethmoid air cells, and left maxillary sinus were clearly separate from the mass, demonstrating a relatively high T2-weighted signal and lack of enhancement consistent with mucocele formation.Immunohistochemical staining was focally reactive for both S-100 and SM A. The patient tolerated the procedure well and was discharged home without difficulty. |
