Electrochromism: Dual‐Fiber Approach toward Flexible Multifunctional Hybrid Materials (Adv. Funct. Mater. 27/2018)

In article number 1704274, Bernd Wicklein, Zaklina Burghard, and co‐workers describe how a dual‐fiber synthesis approach produces strong and flexible hybrid films by co‐assembly of cellulose and V2O5 nanofibers. The self‐supported films display reversible electrochromic behavior without the need for...

Zusammenfassung:In article number 1704274, Bernd Wicklein, Zaklina Burghard, and co‐workers describe how a dual‐fiber synthesis approach produces strong and flexible hybrid films by co‐assembly of cellulose and V2O5 nanofibers. The self‐supported films display reversible electrochromic behavior without the need for substrates such as indium tin oxide glass, opening up great opportunities for the design of smart, flexible optoelectronic devices.
