Zusammenfassung: | The article has described a promising oxyalloying technique for the surface modification of machine parts made of iron–carbon alloys that operate under conditions of friction and wear. The new method has been implemented via the surface impregnation of steel and cast-iron parts with superheated steam of aqueous solutions of salts containing chemically active alloying elements. A multilayer coating formed on the surfaces of parts as a result of this treatment increases their performance characteristics, which has been confirmed by the integrated research. |
