Biographies

In addition to biographies, this department publishes autobiographies, memoirs, and brief and extended obituaries. Each is intended to celebrate a life. They should be discursive, but concise, learned, and anecdotal, touching and informative, and occasionally imbued with compassionate humor. Naturally, the should include a thoughtful summation of the subject's life and virtue, as well as-where applicable-the cause of death.Unsigned items are the work of the editor.
