Zusammenfassung:More and more companies are taking actions for the environment, among the most common is the adoption of environmental management systems or eco-labeling schemes, not only because they streamline resources and reduce costs, resulting in greater profitability, but because they improve public image with commit to society and nature. In the case of the tourist destination Huatulco, they have focused on the environmental dimension of sustainability activities, which has resulted in the hotel sector being immersed in dynamic certification. This research focused on the values, environmental awareness, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of workers as determinants of pro-environment behavior. From a survey of 178 workers of a hotel certified by EarthCheck and applying Multiple Regression Model, it was identified that values and environmental awareness have a significant effect on environmental behaviors.
