Zusammenfassung:A problem of the technology of blast-furnace smelting connected with the necessity of guaranteeing the uniform distribution of the blast rate along the circumference of blast-furnace hearth remains unsolved up to now. The degree of stable nonuniformity of the blast rate over the circumference of blast-furnace hearth caused, first of all, by the design of the joint of a straight-line air channel and an annular channel can be significantly reduced by realizing two-sided diametrically opposite hot-blast supplies from the straight air channel to the annular channel.
