Zusammenfassung:The objectives of this study were: 1) to estimate the value of willingness to pay of visitors to participate in consenting the coral reefs and ecosystem of Karimunjawa National Park; 2) to design the contribution fee from visitors to conserve the marine protected area (MPA). The primary data were obtained from the visitors of National Park from 100 respondents using accidental sampling technique. Then, the key persons of Academician, Business, Government, Community (A-B-G-C) were interviewed. The result indicated that respondents' willingness to pay (WTP) to converse the MPA was Rp 18,000, and the estimated hypothetical market to conserve the coral reef and MPA of Karimunjawa was Rp 2.129 million per year. Furthermore, the amount of the retribution fee which should be paid by visitors was designed with collaboration of A-B-G-C.
