Zusammenfassung:3D finite element method (FEM) simulation was carried out for Charpy impact tests of the dissimilar-metals joint between F82H and 316L. The simulation was fitted to the experimental load–displacement data of the striker. Effects of specimen size, post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), and neutron irradiation on bonding strength of the joint at room temperature (RT) were investigated.
