Physico Chemical Analysis of Groundwater near Municipal Solid Waste Dump Site and Non Dump Site-A Comparative study around Mayiladuthurai, India

During the study, it was determined that TDS ranges from 644 mg/l to 127 mg/l and dump sites come under 371 mg/l to 921 mg/l. [...]the soil parameters in study area have influenced leachate migration. According to BIS standard for drinking water, these values were above the desirable limits and below the permissible limit. According to BIS standards the acceptable limit for calcium in drinking water is 75 mg/l. According to BIS standard, these values were below the desirable limit.
