Zusammenfassung:Zinc oxide (ZnO) is an incredibly versatile material to serve as a sacrificial layer. It is compatible with plasma treatment and can be released by mildly acidic conditions. In article number 1800154 Christian Stelling and Markus Retsch demonstrate the flexibility of this material by the fabrication of transferable nanohole arrays based on nanosphere lithography. Easy fabrication of free‐standing and metal‐insulator‐metal nanostructures is shown.
