Zusammenfassung:Korean honeysuckle (Lonicera vesicaria; KH) is a traditional shrub and used as folk medicine in Korea. The KH is a rich source of ascorbic acid and phenolic components, particularly anthocyanins, flavonoids, and phenolic acids. These compounds reportedly have multiple biological activities, including strong antioxidant activity and antibiotic properties. Here, an abstract of article by Lee performing an in vitro experiment to assess the effects of KH extract (KHE) on ruminal fermentation characteristics is presented.
