Burov discusses Robert Guédiguian's filmmaking, focusing on the influence of his native city, Marseille, France, and how Guédiguian includes Marseille's working class in his movies. Guédiguian's proletariat wants to achieve social justice without violence or theoretical musings, and their sadness and bravery are natural reactions to their degrading situations and the injustices they face.
