Zusammenfassung: | We study the deposition of tantalum coatings on copper and steel. The influence of different parameters and conditions of electrolysis (composition of fluoride electrolytes, temperature, and the amount of conveyed current) on the character of electrocrystallization of the coating, the quality of the surface (namely, roughness, degree of dendrite formation, and current efficiency), and the possibility of deposition of multilayer coating and production of some tantalum products is investigated by the galvanoplastic method. To compare the characteristics of tantalum coatings, we perform simultaneous tests under comparable conditions in a known chloride–fluoride salt system containing K
