Effects of M. hyopneumoniae vaccination program and water-delivered antibiotic programs on growth performance and morbidity and mortality in wean-to-finish pigs

An abstract of a study by Johnson et al that determines the effectiveness of 2 M.hyopneumoniae vaccination programs and 5 water-delivered antibiotic programs at improving growth performance, and reducing morbidity and mortality of pigs under commercial conditions during the wean-to-finish period. Among other things Johnson et al suggested that no differences in performance for the M. hyopneumoniae vaccine programs or the water-delivered antibiotic programs.
