Zusammenfassung: | The increasing incidence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, especially in burn patients, has become a serious clinical concern. Operon of genes related to (icaABCD) and adhesion factors play an important role in biofilm formation and infections caused by this bacterium. Therefore, the aim of this study is to compare the prevalence of biofilms and the adhesion factors among methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus isolates. In this study, 294 S. aureus isolates from patients in different parts of Shiraz teaching hospitals and hospitals with burns were identified biochemical methods. Species (MRSA) were identified using cefocyst disc resistance methods and presence of the gene (meca). The ability to form biofilms using three methods tube method and Congo red agar (MTP) were investigated. Using the PCR method, the presence of genes (ica ABCD) and adhesion genes of fib, can, bap, mecA were studied in all isolates and the role of some of these genes in the ability to biofilm production was evaluated. In this study, 294 isolates of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from the MRS A frequency, the presence of the mecA gene (45.57%) And the frequency of Ica-A, Ica-D, bap, fib, can genes, respectively 82.08(110, 78.35(105) %, 50.74(68) % and 89.55(120) %, (108) %80.59 have been. In terms of the ability to produce biofilms by using the Congond method, 53.73%, and 31.34% in the microtiter plating method, 31.34% had a biofilm production capacity of 31.34%. The results showed that biofilm formation in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus isolates was not associated with the presence of ica, and the presence of adhesion gene could also play a significant role in biofilm production. |
