Zusammenfassung:Cooter and Cooter discuss how to teach slow learners to make progress by using appropriate level of learning materials and teaching methods. Slow learners do not fit in at school, particularly in reading instruction. One serious consequence of inflexible reading curricula is that students become discouraged and drop out of school. Several proven strategies for adapting instruction for slow learners in the reading classroom are presented.
