Zusammenfassung: | Evolved gas analysis using thermal decomposition has been carried out for styrene random/block copolymers using TG-DTA/PI-QMS with the skimmer interface. The system configuration should be advantageous for the performance of real-time measurements for each molecular species. In this system, the discrimination of styrene random/block copolymers can be achieved while monitoring m/z 104. The thermal decomposition of polymers with polystyrene segment shows that the profile of m/z 104 has sharply increased in a certain temperature range, although styrene/butadiene random copolymers and 1,2-polybutadiene do not have a similar profile. |
