Zusammenfassung:The inquiry about the existence and essence of God has been a philosophical question since the origins of Philosophy. Kant's Kritik der reinen Vernunft gave a Copernican Turn to this issue; according to him, we cannot demonstrate the existence of God by means of the theoretical reason. In contemporary philosophy this question about God has been, by different traditions, revisited. The philosophical proposal of L. Polo--especially his contribution in theory of knowledge--could help to reconsider this topic with new tools and arguments. According to Polo the human intellect (inteligencia) in his theoretical dimension is essentially capax Dei. This article tries to summarize the arguments of Polo in order to support his thesis about the possibility of theoretical knowledge of God.
