Zusammenfassung: | Intellectual debates and dialogues are only found in conferences. But the discussions are seldom documented or organized systematically especially between the critical and cultural media studies scholars and the positivist scholars. Each camp has its own journals and publishing venues. Both are contributing to building knowledge in our field in different ways. But we lack a common discussion platform. We need intellectual cross-pollination to make a stronger and better intellectual fruit. Scholarly journals like JMCQ should do more to foster such intellectual debates. |
