compound has been prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction. The obtained material crystallizes in the orthorhombic system with Pnma space group. Its electrical properties have been studied using complex impedance spectroscopy in the frequency range 209 Hz–1 MHz and temperature range (466–523) K. The temperature dependence of the DC conductivity and modulus was found to obey the Arrhenius law. The AC conductivity for grain contribution was interpreted using the universal Jonscher’s power law. The exponent n decreased with increasing temperature revealing that the conduction inside the studied material was insured by the correlated barrier hopping process. The conduction mechanism was explained with the help of Elliot’s theory, and the Elliot’s parameters were determined. |
