Zusammenfassung:Properties of a class of M-PhC (metallic-photonic-crystal) point-defect-cavities (PDCs) with a centrally-loaded rod are theoretically and experimentally investigated. After the computation of the resonant frequencies and Q-factors of the resonant modes, the PDCs are fabricated and experimentally measured to validate the simulation results.
