Zusammenfassung:Results Among 2,126 participants (mean [SD] age 63 [11] years; 64% women; 75% taking antihypertensive medication), mean (SD) brachial systolic BP /diastolic BP / pulse pressure levels were 137 (19)/72 (10)/65 (10) mmHg, respectively. Among participants age 30-49, one-SD increases of forward wave amplitude were associated with brachial and central PP (standardized regression coefficient [95% CIs]: 14.1 [13.0 to 15.1] and 20.1 [19.4 to 20.9] mmHg, respectively), whereas the effect sizes of the reflected wave on brachial and central PP were small (standardized regression coefficient
