PREDICTIVE VALUE OF SEATTLE HEART FAILURE MODEL IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING TRANSCATHETER AORTIC VALVE REPLACEMENT

Background Seattle Heart Failure Model (SHFM) is a validated risk assessment tool in heart failure (HF) patients, but its utility for predicting survival in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) remains to be evaluated. Use of beta-blockers was 68%, diuretics was 65%, ang...

Zusammenfassung:Background Seattle Heart Failure Model (SHFM) is a validated risk assessment tool in heart failure (HF) patients, but its utility for predicting survival in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) remains to be evaluated. Use of beta-blockers was 68%, diuretics was 65%, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors was 24%, aldosterone receptor blockers was 17%, and potassium-sparing diuretics was 7%.
