Zusammenfassung: | Case We report an 85 year old woman with a dual chamber pacemaker implanted years before for sinus node dysfunction admitted following syncope and cardiac arrest with traumatic injuries that eventually led to her death. In future patients consideration should be given in patients with normal conduction to set mode switch programming to DDI(R) especially if ventricular only pacing results in a drop in blood pressure or poor patient tolerance. |
