ASSOCIATION OF GDF11 AND TELOMERE LENGTH WITH INCIDENT CORONARY OUTCOMES

Methods Consenting patients undergoing coronary angiography provided blood samples for plasma GDF11 assessment (EIA, Sigma, Inc.) and for DNA extraction. STL was significantly associated with male gender, history of CAD and atrial fibrillation, statin use, and reduced family history of CV disease.
