Zusammenfassung:Background Late presentation of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) may be associated with complications such as cardiogenic shock (CS) and ventricular septal rupture (VSR). Patient was supported for 3 weeks after revision of ECMO cannulation to the axillary artery and internal jugular vein, to allow for more mobility and end organ recovery, prior to simultaneous LVAD placement with VSR repair.
