Zusammenfassung:Methods Nationwide inpatient sample (NIS) database from 2011-14 was utilized to derive the study cohort and the patients who underwent TAVR were identified using the procedure code 35.05 and 35.06. patients who received MCS during the procedure were identified by the procedure code 37.61, 37.68 and 39.65. The length of hospital stay decreased while in hospital mortality and cost of procedure increased and majority were covered through federally funded insurance programs.
