Detection of the mouse T-cell receptor beta gene enhancer blocks alphabeta T-cell development
The role of the T-cell receptor (TCR) beta gene transcriptional enhancer in intrathymic T-cell development was assessed in mouse strains in which the TCR beta enhancer was deleted. The effects of the deletion on lymphoid-cell differentiation, beta gene rearrangement and transcription are described.
