Coexpression of (mu) and (gamma)1 Heavy Chains Can Occur by a Discontinuous Transcription Mechanism from the Same Unrearranged Chromosome

A study found that a discontinuous transcription mechanism from an unrearranged chromosome can cause coexpression of mu and gamma1 heavy chains. Mature and pre-RNA are analyzed at the nascent and steady-state levels.
