Zusammenfassung: | Ni-W/SiC nanocomposite coatings were prepared by electrodeposition in Ni-W plating solution containing SiC nanoparticulates. The content of co-deposited SiC in the nanocomposite coatings was controlled by the addition of different SiC nanoparticulates concentrations in the solution. The SiC nanoparticulates content in the deposit increased with the increase of its concentration in the plating bath. The mechanical property and wear resistance of Ni-W/SiC nanocomposite coatings and Ni-W alloy coating were comparatively investigated. The results indicated that addition of SiC nanoparticulates would lead to an increase in microhardness of the nanocomposite coatings. The present study shows that the co-deposited SiC nanoparticulates in deposit increase the wear resistance and reduce the wear weight loss. Moreover, the wear resistance of Ni-W/SiC nanocomposite coatings is closely related with SiC content in deposit. |
