Zusammenfassung: | A new design of a circular polarized hybrid patch‐slot antenna operating in dual band is investigated. The proposed structure is a hybrid square ring‐patch slot implemented on both sides of a single layer and has two radiating elements. The square ring patch, which operates in the low band, is implemented on the top layer of the substrate. For the high band, the square ring slot is placed on the ground plane. Each radiating element is fed by the same T‐shaped feed structure. The prototype achieves impedance bandwidths (|S11| ≤ −10 dB) of 7.73% and 12.03%, axial ratio (AR) bandwidths (AR ≤ 3 dB) of 1.7% and 2.61% at two different bands, respectively. |
