Zusammenfassung:Methods A convenience sampling of patients with varying levels of partial hand amputation presenting in seven out-patient upper limb prosthetic specialty centers participated in a thorough evaluation in which upper extremity prosthetic specialists provided education regarding suitable prosthetic options for their specific situation. Aggregate partial hand amputee results along with representative case studies will be examined to illustrate the partial hand prosthetic fitting results of patients who participated in this multidisciplinary, patient-centered care model. Wellness Inventory Results n=263 Mage = 44.35 67.3% male Post hoc analysis found: no significant differences between emotional reactions scores for AE and BE subjects PH subjects were significantly higher than AE subjects No other differences were significant CAPROQ-R© (Comprehensive Arm Prosthesis and Rehabilitation Outcome Questionnaire-Revised) Results n =118 Mage = 43.61 72.9% male Post hoc analyses no significant differences in daily wearing times for AE and BE PH subjects were significantly lower than both AE and BE subjects No other differences were significant Conclusion Clinicians should consider the psychological differences of amputees within their subgroups.
