Comparision of efficacy and complications of insertion of IUD in postplacental/postpartum period and postpuerperal/interval period: 1 year follow-up

An abstract from the study by Eroglu et al entitled Comparison of efficacy and complications of insertion of IUD in postplacental/postpartum period and postpuerperal/interval period: 1 year follow-up is presented. By comparing the efficacy and complications of postplacental and early postpartum IUD with postpuerperal and interval insertion in one year, Eroglu et al opine that postpartum IUD insertion is an acceptable, efficient method of contraception.
