On the Markings in the Manuscript of Sir John Van Olden Barnavelt

Stephenson explores John Fletcher and Philip Massinger's Sir John Van Olden Barnavelt, which exists in one manuscript copy in the hand of the scrivener Ralph Crane. The manuscript contains many marginal, interlinear, and textual markings. Some of these are Crane's corrections and deletions, some are evidently the book-keeper's notes, and quite a few are by the Master of the Revels, Sir George Buc.
