Zusammenfassung: | A prospective client was planning a meeting of senior managers to discuss its training program. A consultant had been asked to assess the situation and make a presentation on the findings. Management's concern centered on inconsistency in OSHA-required training. Much effort was put into training, but continuity was missing. "On again, off again" was the term used. The problem appeared to be a failure to stick to basics. Some common weak links in the training process were preventing the company from consistently achieving a desired level of performance—and it likely extended beyond OSHA training to other training and communication efforts. What follows is the consultant's presentation. |
