Pediatric Ibuprofen Use Increases While Incidence of Reye's Syndrome Continues to Decline
Data from the Centers for Disease Control demonstrate a reduction in reporting of Reye's syndrome during the period 1981 through 1997. The introduction of pediatric ibuprofen products has not been associated with an increase in reporting of Reye's syndrome.
