Zusammenfassung:Report of the Committee on Program The 2009 annual meeting of the American Catholic Historical Association took place, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the American Historical Association and other affiliated societies, at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers from Friday, January 2, to Monday, January 5, 2009. David J. O'Brien (College of the Holy Cross) spoke on "Hecker's Contribution to American Catholicism"; John Farina (George Mason University) on "The Uses of Hecker's Early Diaries"; and R. Scott Appleby (University of Notre Dame) on "What Hecker Would Say to Twenty-First Century American Catholicism." The session at 11: 30 a.m., "Franciscans and Nahuas in Colonial Mexico," was held at the Hilton NewYork Hotel and cosponsored by the American Historical Association, the Conference on Latin American History, and the Academy of American Franciscan History Papers were presented by Veronica A.\n make the financial records of the Association available for an annual audit or review as determined by the Executive Council f. under the direction of the Executive Council establish and oversee the internal financial procedures of the Association in accord with best financial practices g. collect and record contributions for the expansion of The Catholic Historical Review; notify the editor of the amount available for each issue; pay the invoices from the publisher, The Catholic University of America Press; and thank the donors.
