Zusammenfassung:This article contains policies and concepts, in order to generate reflection and debate that lead to proposals and solutions to the problem of educational inclusion of populations in situations of disability. Initially, the description is made of the rights that define education as an essential training institution and a documentary study of concepts established by different authors. Subsequently, the present problem of educational inclusion of populations in a situation of disability from a qualitative point of view is presented, focusing mainly on the processes of access, stay and promotion of Deaf people in the Colombian Higher Education system; Some policies established and carried out by different institutions of Higher Education in Colombia are mentioned, in order to erect solutions to the problem under discussion. As a result, it is proposed the construction of an educational inclusion model for Deaf people, with an emphasis on the employment projection of individuals as the ultimate goal of their inclusion in society.
