Ductile Deformation Studies of Anchimetamorphic Sequences in the Bükk Mts., NE Hungary

The Paleo-Mesozoic anchimetamorphic series of the Bukk Mountains (NE Hungary) are showing similar stratigraphic and tectonometamorphic development to those of the Inner Dinarides, but Displacement of the Biikk Unit from the Dinaric margin to the present position along a large-scale fault zone was ac...

Zusammenfassung:The Paleo-Mesozoic anchimetamorphic series of the Bukk Mountains (NE Hungary) are showing similar stratigraphic and tectonometamorphic development to those of the Inner Dinarides, but Displacement of the Biikk Unit from the Dinaric margin to the present position along a large-scale fault zone was accompanied by a significant counter-clockwise rotation. An abstract of an article reviewing an investigation which was aimed to characterize deformation patterns, especially those of ductile behaviour, is presented.
