Zusammenfassung: | Emerging research shows that individuals vary in their tendency to make choices that relate to a specific rule orientation. In this study, participants were assigned to groups composed of members who were either identical or different with respect to decision rule orientation. The results indicated that, for interacting groups, consensus was more likely in identical groups than in different groups. This did not hold true for the noninteracting groups. Implications for group consensus and the decision rule orientation construct are discussed. |
