New Zealand tries again for a nationwide cancer-control strategy

A nationwide cancer-control plan was given new life at a high-level workshop in Wellington New Zealand, held Aug 5-6, 1999. Participants from a number of disciplines and consumer advocates voted unanimously for a consortium of agencies to pursue a plan to reduce the burden of cancer in New Zealand.
