ANAESTHESIA: Hearing loss and dural puncture

The etiology of hearing loss following procedures such as spinal anesthesia, myelography and aspiration of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is discussed. Such losses can be stopped by injecting the patient's own blood into the epidural space.
