Zusammenfassung:A new strategy for supramolecular chemistry, amino acid coordinated self‐assembly paves the way for constructing hierarchical materials by using basic units of biomolecules as the building blocks. Similar to other supramolecular self‐assembly strategies, the morphologies and architectures of the micro‐ and nanomaterials fabricated from amino acid coordinated self‐assembly can be readily tuned by changing the types, ratios, and concentrations of the building blocks along with the metal ions.
