The DVD, through its more discursive approach, also documents important peripheral phenomena, such as Maggio-\nspired art (including frescoes, sculptures, wood carvings, paintings, and knick-knacks in public and private spheres), the sites of informal Mflggio-related socialization, and the community loci it inhabits in the off season (e.g., a trattoria (restaurant) or the Maggio museum at Villa Minozzo). Magrini also considers other topics proper to literary studies-historical context, dramatic aspects of the Maggio, and authorship, as well as music, musical performance, the Maggio as ritual, and the Maggio as group expression.
