Zusammenfassung:Membranes for CO2/N2 separation towards CO2 capture The cover art depicts research work developed at the LAQV‐REQUIMTE, Associated Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry—Clean Processes and Technologies, University Nova of Lisbon led by Luisa A. Neves and Cláudia C. L. Pereira. It shows that confined ionic liquids (ILs) inside metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) form structures that, when incorporated in Matrimid® 5218, yield mixed matrix membranes with high CO2/N2 permeability and selectivity, using an IL/MOF loading of only 2 %. In addition, the mechanical properties of the membranes were also improved through the incorporation of these new composites. More details can be found in the Communication by Bernardo Monteiro et al. on page 2158 in Issue 12, 2017 (10.1002/ente.201700228).
