Zusammenfassung: | Abstract
There are conflicting reports of an association between seropositivity for Chlamydia pneumoniae and risk of deep venous thrombosis. Analyzing longitudinal data from a large claims-based dataset comprised of 166,004 enrollees, we did not find an association between use of usual short courses of anti-chlamydial antibiotics and a lower risk of deep venous thrombosis in a sample without known risk factors for deep venous thrombosis. |
