The Last Four Shots: Problems of Intention and Camus' "The Stranger"
The relation of Albert Camus and Meursault, the central character in Camus' "The Stranger," to mother and country is discussed. The questions of why Mersault kills the Arab and why he fires four shots into an already lifeless body are explored.
