Zusammenfassung:This article discusses employer-mandated health insurance coverage in Hawaii and the soon-to- be implemented managed-care plan for the state. There is an attempt made to explain why health care costs are lower and overall health better in Hawaii when compared to other states. Ninety-eight percent of Hawaii residents have medical coverage, which means greater access to all health care, but there are still many people who do not have adequate coverage for their home health care needs.
