Zusammenfassung:9H-[1,2,4]Triazolo[4,3-g]purin-5-amine ( 2 ) was synthesized by reaction of 6-hydrazinyl-7H-purin-2-amine ( 1a ) with formic acid under reflux conditions. Treating compound 1a in ethanol with CS 2 in the presence of KOH yielded 5-amino-3H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-g]purine-3-thione ( 3 ). The new synthesized compounds were characterized using IR, 1 H NMR, and elemental analysis. The synthesized compounds have been screened for antibacterial activity.
